Nothing new to really update at this point. Jessica is still having the same problems. I have to honestly say, I wasn't quite convinced that the gastroparesis was caused by Jessica's liver disease progressing, but I have noticed when she is in pain and can't eat for a day or two she starts having pale bowel movements which is a liver drainage issue, so it looks as though the liver symptoms and the gastroparesis symptoms are happening at the same time.  I will be mentioning this to her specialist at her next appt.

Jessica is a beautiful child. I am sure it is frustrating for you to see your child in pain & not gaining weight like a normal child! I am the mother of 5 children, ages 23, 22, 20, 14,& 12. We only had health problems for our oldest child; however not as serious as Jessica's. I will add Jessica to our prayer list at home & at our local church. It would help on our church prayer list to put on a last name. I have survived a stroke (8 years ago) & Inflammatory breast cancer by one year!I also survived our house fire - no one was home at the time.:) I had been in cancer treatments at the time of the fire. I just had my gallgladder out yesterday, I am doing alright. I homeschool the youngest two - as I have done for our oldest three. I have homeschooled for the past 18 years. How is Jessica doing on her school work? How are you doing with all of this?:-? Karen Arthaud
